Today was the annual Track Day at our elementary school. I will admit to grumbling just a little bit before I went. With only ten days left of school, I didn't feel like giving up my last free Thursday. And I've been to so many track days over the years, they've lost a little charm.

Even here in Colorado, we are finally seeing some spring colors! Here's a few classic preschool and kindergarten art projects to welcome those spring blooms. For a blooming 3-d tree branch either paint or draw a large tree branch on some paper. Glue on a few green paper leaves.

Being big Winnie the Pooh fans around here, we have thrown several "silly old bear" themed parties. Because there is so much Pooh related stuff out there, it is an easy party to put together. You won't have any trouble finding Pooh plates, Pooh shaped cake pans, or even Pooh piƱatas.

Here are some games to play at your Pooh Bear Party! For a fun game, that is harder than it sounds, try to throw "bees" into a honey pot. The bees can be any decent sized candy. We used miniature Hersey candy bars.
