Tea party themed birthday parties can be loads of fun, and aren’t hard to put together. For invitations consider a teacup-shaped card with a string and tag attached mimicking a tea bag. You can write your party details on the tag and on the cup. Dressing up is the most fun part. You can invite your guest to come dressed up, or consider it a party activity. Having a birthday on a school day can be very exciting for a child. The class sings happy birthday and often parents send cupcakes or cookies. Family Fun: October Review

October was a bit of a slow month, but the topics covered were very interesting and they were written by Catherine Ipcizade and Heather Long. Birthday Letters

It’s hard to believe that next month Tyler will celebrate his sixth birthday. I really wanted to do something special this year. He wants a party at Blu Rabbit’s Paradise (similar to Chuck E. Cheese). The problem is he’s in a class with 22 other kids. Frankly, I don’t think I can afford to pay for so many. But I don’t want to not invite anyone.
