Add a little St. Patrick's Day fun to your letters, envelopes, school papers, bookmarks or scrapbooks with these easy ways to make clover designs.

1. Dip the end of an unused pencil eraser in a green stamp pad. Stamp three of four clover leaves to make a shamrock. Add a stem with a green marker or dip just the edge of the eraser back in the stamp pad and stamp a stem.

2. Press your finger onto a washable stamp pad, or color your finger pad with washable marker and press down on the paper to make a clover leaf. Make two or three more fingerprints to make a shamrock. Draw on a stem with a green marker.

3. Use round paper punches or heart paper punches to make the leaves of a shamrock out of green paper. Cut a stem. To glue the pieces down, squeeze a little puddle of glue out on aluminum foil or waxed paper. Dip a toothpick in the glue and put the glue on the paper punch and stick down.

To make a bookmark like the one in this picture, use a heart punch to make the shamrocks. Cut squares around the negative punched space to make the heart designs. Cut thin strips of green paper for the edges of the bookmark and glue everything in place. Punch a hole at the top of the bookmark and add a ribbon.

4. Press a real clover. Place clover between several layers of paper towels and place between heavy books for one week. After the clovers are pressed, you can glue them onto paper. I like to put clear Contact paper over the top to protect the clovers.

5. For a larger shamrock shape, cut a kitchen sponge into a clover. Dip it in acrylic paint and stamp.
