Holiday Boredom Bustersby Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger 25 Nov 2006 06:53 AM Sometimes, being off school sounds awesome, but then it can be a little boring. You get so used to being busy that not having any planned activities can quickly lead to boredom. TV and video games are fun sometimes, but you can't spend all your time in front of a TV or monitor. So, here are some ideas of things kids can do during school vacations: Picture This! Here's a fun game you can play that Mom and Dad will probably like too. It's based on a TV game show called Win, Lose, or Draw. It's simple and all you need is paper and something to write and draw with. Write down a bunch the names of several different items on small pieces of paper. *You can also do a themed version of this game and write down all the items you can think of that have to do with a holiday (or you can just stick to random stuff). Have You Been Good? Tell Santa! Now is the perfect time to start working on your Christmas list so Mom and Dad have some ideas to choose from when they go shopping. You can also email Santa HERE with a parent's permission (Mom and Dad: see the "For Parents" link for more information). *Note for Parents: Mom and Dad, please read this note from the United States Postal Service for more information on sending Santa a letter by regular mail.
