I am really excited about this blog, and I want to welcome each of you. This is going to be a lot of fun. My name is Sherry Holetzky, and I also host the Home and Garden Blog. I have four kids of my own and I enjoy coming up with ideas for craft projects, and working on crafts with my kids.

A little imagination goes a long way when it comes to crafts, and I was pretty creative as a child (says my mom who is not biased at all...). I was always making something, or more accurately, making something out of nothing.

I worked as a teacher's aid at a preschool for a little over a year, where I had the opportunity to make up and participate in craft projects with the students. It was fun and rewarding for me to work with the children and help them make crafts and gifts that they were proud to take home to Mom and Dad.

I plan to explore all different kinds of crafts from the simplest projects that even little ones can make to more complex, challenging items. I'll also have some cool stuff for bigger kids, including 'tweens and teens. I plan to discuss crafts made from all sorts of materials, from things you already have around the house to things found in nature, as well as the wonderful craft products that are currently available.

I would love to hear from you if you have comments, questions, suggestions, or if you're looking for a project or would like to share one. Drop by from time to time to see what's going on, and please, let me know what you think. Your feedback is welcome and it will help me make this a better resource for kids and parents who are looking for craft projects.
